While most tourists are too focused on the famous Cloud 9 surf spot, there’s another place that you might want to check out when you’re in the island. Aside from the long strip of white sand shore that you can sunbathe on, Pacifico is also one of Siargao’s many surf spots.
It’s located in the municipality of San Isidro, which is more than an hour away from General Luna, but the long trip will be worth it when you see how beautiful and serene the place is compared to the crowded Cloud 9. Plus, you can have good hearty meals at Pacifico Beach Resort!
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to surf here because it was already low tide when we arrived, and we already had a quick session in Cloud 9 early in the morning, before we went to San Isidro. Maybe I’ll try again when I go back next year. The board rental rates are also much cheaper in Pacifico!
If you want to stay at Pacifico Beach Resort instead of any of the resorts in General Luna, check out their website for more information.
