I’m finally back from my month-long blogging hiatus! Also, I just got back from Siargao!
Last year, I traveled to Siargao for the first time. However, it was such a short trip that I didn’t get to visit a lot of places. So, I decided to go back and this time, I was able to see more beautiful spots in the island! One of these was Sugba Lagoon.
Sugba Lagoon, also known as Caob Lagoon, is located in the municipality of Del Carmen, particularly in the middle of the Philippines’ second largest mangrove system. You can explore the lagoon on a stand up paddle board, snorkel and marvel at the beautiful corals, swim with stingless jellyfishes, jump from a platform, and enjoy a feast at the two-storey house.
If want to spend a day in a less crowded place in Siargao, this may be the perfect place for you.
If you want a convenient way to visit Sugba Lagoon, you can have your trip arranged by Bravo Beach Resort. The package costs Php 2,000 per person and is inclusive of van and boat transfers, food and drinks, stand up paddle boards, snorkeling gears, and all other fees. The van leaves at 8:30 AM and you will be back at the resort at around 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
