It’s summertime again and there’s no better way to spend it than being under the sun, by the beach.
One of my favorite white sand beaches here in Cebu is Lambug beach in Badian. The long strip of fine white sand and the pristine waters make a perfect combination for me. On weekends, it can get crowded and noisy, which is why I would prefer going here on weekdays, when it’s quiet and I can enjoy the sound of the crashing waves. What makes going to this beach even better is that it doesn’t cost much, which is an ideal summer getaway for a budget-conscious person like me.

How to Get There
Go to Cebu South Bus Terminal and board a bus with the Bato via Barili route. Once you see the LRR Filipino and Korean Restaurant, that’s where you get off the bus. The road on its right side is the one that leads to Lambug. The beach is a bit far from the main road, so you will have to ride a tricycle going to the beach.
Fees
- Bus: Less than Php 150 per way
- Tricycle: Php 30-40/person
- Entrance fee: none
