Zoey is a two-month-old (almost three!) female golden retriever puppy. We brought her to the beach for the first time so she can unleash her water-loving golden retriever ways. But since it was her first time, she was scared of the water and kept swimming back to the shore! She was quick to learn though. So proud of our baby!
The newly opened Mactan Newtown Beach is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furbabies and enjoy the day with them. They can swim only in the designated area for pets, which you can see in the first few seconds of the video above, and not the one with the bigger shoreline.
The entrance fee is Php150/person on weekdays and Php200/person on weekends. However, they do not require an entrance fee for pets, as well as for children below 6 years of age.

Honestly, it’s not my type of beach, but the fact that it’s pet-friendly was enough reason to make me go there. 😉
