So there’s another one, huh?
Sirao has gained more popularity over the past year because of the flower farm that was dubbed as the “Mini Amsterdam” of Cebu. Tourists and locals alike have flocked to the farm to have their photos taken and to enjoy the beauty of the colorful flowers.
Now, there’s another one called Sirao Pictorial Garden and Camping Site and it’s just beside the original Celosia farm. I thought that it was an extension at first and I’ve noticed that some people seem to think so too, but apparently, it’s under a different ownership. Just thought I’d put it out there to avoid confusion when tagging our photos on social media. Anyway, here are some photos from Sirao PGCS. 🙂
They have a mini camping site and a few birds and bunnies. There were also a lot of butterflies. A huge one even landed on my hand and lingered for a few seconds. I wasn’t able to take photos of the whole place, however, because my battery died.
When we visited last November 7, the flowers were in full bloom, so now’s the best time to go there if you want to take advantage of the view. If you do go, remember to leave no trace. Do not litter, vandalize, or damage the flowers. Let us not ruin beautiful things. 🙂
The entrance fee to the garden is Php 30.00 and it is open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. For more information, please visit the Sirao Pictorial Garden and Camping Site Facebook page.
