Sunsets are boring, said no one ever!
I love sunsets not only for the golden charm that they possess, but also for the calm, hopeful feeling that I get every time I watch the sun go down so beautifully at the end of each day. Whenever I get the chance, and when the weather cooperates, I spend a few minutes to marvel in its beauty.
Here in Cebu, there are many places where we can get a good view of the sunset. In this post, I’ve collected photos taken around Cebu by different people (mostly my friends), as well as from my own feed. Enjoy!
Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island
You can enjoy watching the sunset in Sugar Beach, but the mini sandbar in Kota Beach (see photo above) is one of the best spots to just sit back as the sun goes down and the sky changes colors. Another good spot is in Kota Park, Madridejos.
There’s a resort in the island where you can get a perfect view of the sunset, but I forgot the name. Oops. The photo below was taken somewhere in that resort.
Although this photo didn’t capture the best view of the sunset, you can usually get an undisrupted, golden image at a quaint resort called Fantasy Lodge.
Here are beautiful photos of sunsets in Cebu from my talented Instagram friends:
Singli Mountain Resort, San Fernando
Dakong Bato Resort, Dalaguete
Lambug Beach, Badian
Cansaga Bay, Consolacion
Mt. Lanaya, Alegria
But wait, you don’t always have to go far just to catch the glorious sunset. If you don’t have time to go far north, south, or up the mountains, a short drive to SRP will do. 😉
South Road Properties
You can see the beautiful sunset along the road, but you can also go to SM Seaside‘s skydeck to get a much better view.
Aren’t sunsets just naturally photogenic?
I hope you liked this post. If you have other suggestions or if you want your photo to be featured in this post, please don’t hesitate to leave the links to your Instagram photos in the comments section! 🙂
To end this post, I’ll leave you with this quote:
“Sunsets are proof that no matter what happens, every day can end beautifully.”
Just a girl in her late twenties trying to find her way through life. She loves to write, eat, take photos, and freedive. She used to travel a lot and hopes she could do that again when this global pandemic is over.
