Finally, a resort within the city!
I’m pretty sure almost every Cebuano has been to Cebu Westown Lagoon by now. It’s probably super mainstream but one could not help but step foot on this very instagrammable place. Almost every corner is picture-worthy! All it takes is a quick drive to NRA, Mandaue City and you’ll get to bask in the beauty of this man-made lagoon.
The place looks amazing but it gets too crowded, especially during the weekends. If you’re looking for some peace and relaxation, then this might not be the right place or you. However, it’s great for family time and birthday celebrations! Bring in the lechon! Lol
PS: These photos were taken at around 6:30 AM when the pool area was still (sort of) empty.
Cebu Westown Lagoon features fine architecture with the artificial rock formations and tiki-themed structures, super fun (and kind of scary) water slides, and pretty much everything else that you see in this post (except for my tiny self).
So, what’s missing in Cebu Westown Lagoon?
Answer: HULA GIRLS!!!
Right? Right? I mean, if they had staff who dressed up like hula girls, I would’ve thought I was transported to Hawaii. I’m not saying that I’ve been there buuuut… I might have watched Just Go With It recently. LOL Okay, I’m not really being serious. The truth is, appearance-wise, the place is awesome!
Just a girl in her late twenties trying to find her way through life. She loves to write, eat, take photos, and freedive. She used to travel a lot and hopes she could do that again when this global pandemic is over.
